Fireworks Saturday Night
A rescheduled fireworks display on Bull Shoals Dam, along with other activities, is scheduled for Saturday.Fireworks are set to begin at approximately 8:00 in the evening. Due to rainfall on the Fourth of July, fireworks over Bull Shoals Lake had to be postponed.
The fireworks are the finale to a full Labor Day celebration at the James A. Gaston Visitor Center, with kid friendly activities available beginning at 5:30 p.m. Bull Shoals Police Auxiliary will be set up to sell food and drinks, and an ice cream truck will be on site with frosty treats.
Parking for the display will also be available at the day use area of Bull Shoals White River State Park or the bluff down Powerhouse Road.
On Sunday and Monday the park will be offering guided tours down the White River each day starting at 9:30 at the Bull Shoals-White River Trout Dock and ending at 12:30 p.m. at the White Hole Access, depending on water levels. The cost for the floats is $20 per person plus tax, which includes shuttle and all of the gear. Personal boats and gear may be brought but shuttles for personal watercraft are not available from the White Hole take-out.
Call the James A. Gaston Visitor Information Center at 870-445-3629 for further details on all activities and to sign up for the floats.
