A regular city council meeting 6:30 at city hall this Thursday April 27 2017.  The public is encouraged to attend welcome.  On Monday evening a special meeting was held.  The cities budget was the issue.  The mayor is working with department heads to cut 25% from  current budget request.  The budget will be discussed again.  There should be a vote on the resolution for Dam site park setting fees.  There will also be a vote on the noise ordinance.  When the agenda is printed it will be posted here.  Don't forget to vote May 9th on the sewer issue concerning the one (1%) percent sales tax increase.  This is a re-vote on the same issue we voted on in November 2016.

                                                                         APRIL 8 2017

Great news for the Citizens of Bull Shoals. The city received a grant of $1.3 million dollars from the North West Arkansas Development Authority for the new sewer plant. This brings the total grant monies received to $5.8 Million dollars. The new cost to the city is just $2.2 million dollars. The November 1% sales tax must be re-voted on. The bond language was incorrect so we will be voting on this issue again May 9th at city hall. Special thanks to our economic development coordinator David Nixon. His skills have navigated the City of Bull Shoals through this process.
